Default splinter dervish?

well i was thinking with the scythes multiple strikes would the ritualists splinter weapon be usefull as a second class or would that be spreading your attributes out to far and I searched and couldn't find a topic and after seeing a triple chop build with splintering on a warrior I thought why not a derv so for people who know about how a derv works could you tell me if this is viable or not?

Maybe. I do know that it'd trigger on every one of your 3 hits of the scythe, so you'd have to reapply it for every swing...the time it takes to do this alone probably makes it not worthwhile.
Give a hero splinter weapon, maybe?

[wiki]Splinter Weapon[/wiki] + [wiki]Chilling Victory[/wiki] + clumped mob = Tasty

If you don't mind using avatars, another thing you can add is [wiki]Avatar of Lyssa[/wiki] to the mix to give you the +damage to those that are activating skills in addition to providing the energy needed to use nightmare and splinter consistantly since they do take some upkeep.
